David P. Gomez — the award-winning founder, C.E.O., and President of David Gomez & Associates, Inc. (DG&A) — demands excellence across the areas of executive search and corporate board placement.  His expertise in diversity consulting also has earned him a consistent and prominent presence in the pages of national and trade publications including the Wall Street Journal as well as Latino Leaders and Dinero magazines.

Under David's leadership, DG&A has established strategic relationships with the nation’s leading companies, providing them with the talent critical to continued business success. Over the past 35 years, David and his team have assisted organizations -- spanning the Fortune 500 to government agencies and non-profit organizations -- with tough-to-fill assignments. The firm leverages unparalleled expertise in Consumer, Education, Government, Financial Services, Healthcare, and Nonprofit sectors.

Recently, DG&A helped the second largest county in the United States overhaul their health and hospitals system, as well as assist one of the largest cities find, screen, and select its police superintendent. The firm’s reach also extends to post-Katrina recovery efforts in New Orleans, bringing much-needed talent to the region battered by storm damage and economic instability. David and his staff worked directly with Mayor Ray Nagin to help the city staff its highest-level technologist position, Chief Technology Officer.

David was recently appointed Nominations Chair on the Board of the Directors for the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce after successfully identifying it's new CEO, Javier Palomarez. David also helped the formation of the New America Alliance (NAA), an organization of Latino business leaders, and co-founded the United Community Bank of Lisle, which, since its inception in 2002, had grown into a $400-million organization.

David has worked diligently to inspire children and teens through a past appointed position on the Illinois State Board of Education. David currently volunteers as a motivational speaker for students from the elementary to the collegiate level, even earning St. Augustine College’s “El Puente Award” for distinguished service to the community.
