DG&A Places CFO at Minority Owned Community Bank

After a 45 day search by David Gomez & Associates, Buddy Georgoulakis has been named the new Chief Financial Officer for Aztec America Bank. Buddy Georgoulakis has over 20 years of senior management experience as a Senior Vice President with a $900 million financial institution. Throughout his career, Buddy has gained experience in evaluating acquisitions as well as internal auditing.

Buddy was recently the Senior Vice President of Amalgamated Bank of Chicago (ABC). In this role with ABC, he was responsible for the regulatory and internal financial reporting for their organization, an $11 billion trust company, two subsidiaries, and three limited liability corporations. One of the major successes that Buddy enjoyed while in this role was developing and implementing the initial strategic plan for ABC’s $75 million credit card program. Buddy had grown and stabilized this organization, and was looking for his next challenge.
