Just 60 days after being retained on a search to help strengthen Vanguard's presence in the Chicagoland area, DG&A is proud to announce that Dr. Aaron Gerber has been selected to become the Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for the Chicago Market office.

Armed with both a Medical Doctorate and a Master’s of Business Administration degree, Dr. Gerber has been on both sides of the fence when it comes to business development in the healthcare industry. Having served in both advisory and tactical capacities, Dr. Gerber's background allows him to understand what the physician side and the administrative side is trying to accomplish. Given this ability, Dr. Gerber is able to think creatively and strategically how the two sides can work together. Dr. Gerber has been successful in his previous roles which include stints at McKinsey and Company, Physicians Interactive, and AllScripts Healthcare Solutions. Most currently Dr. Gerber is the President of his own organization, Gerber Healthcare-a boutique healthcare consulting and advisory firm. His company specializes in growth strategy consulting, business development, new venture creation, as well as providing advisory services to private equity and venture capital firms in the evaluation and optimization of healthcare investment opportunities.
